Live Edge Coffee Table (Advanced)

Coffee Table:

• Debark Slab: How to remove the bark and defects in the live edge slab.
• Sizing Lumber: Taking the dimensional lumber (leg material) to the table saw & compound mitre saw to create the base.
• Sanding: How to work up the Grits on the base and top for the desired look of the table.
• Finish: How to apply various wipe on finishes to create a durable coat over the table to protect it for years to come

Advanced course requires participants to have taken part in the Charcuterie/Cutting board course. As well as have shown competency on the tools in previous workshops & a knowledge of tool safety from the safety seminar.

All participants must attend our workshop safety seminar prior to attending the workshop. The safety seminars will be an hour long where at the beginning of the first workshop where our instructors discuss proper techniques and potential risks associated with working around the various tools used in the workshop.

All our participants are required to wear Steel toe shoes, ear, eye protective equipment at all times in the shop. Respiratory equipment will be required when sanding during particularly dusty environments.

Ear, Eye, and Respiratory Equipment will be provided for each course date.

Steel Toe boots are not provided but are required to work in the shop. Loaner boots can be provided upon request, for an additional rental fee of $25.00 per day.

All participants must read, sign and date the waiver of liability prior to participating in the workshop.
